Our worship schedule for Sunday morning: 8:00 am Traditional in Heritage Chapel 9:15 and 10:45 Contemporary in Worship Center
We are a free and independent church under Christ. Guided by a Board of Elders, we determine our own policies and practices in light of biblical expectations, and we voluntarily cooperate with other Christian groups in fulfilling our Lord's Great Commission. We have this requirement for church membership: One must be a believer in Jesus Christ as the only Son of God, be willing to repent of sin and surrender to His Lordship, to confess this faith before others, Obey Him in Christian baptism and to continue in faithful discipleship.

This city is our home. We love being here, both in the great times and the hard moments. Yesterday we started a sermon series called For The City, where we're looking at God's heart for the city and how followers of Jesus can work together right here. You can watch the first week of this series anytime at www.myfcc.life
What’s one of your favorites parts of living here?

We're thankful for the men and women in our country's military and emergency services who have served and died to protect us. We will always remember their sacrifice and their service.
Today is Pottawattamie Gives! Together with Omaha Gives!, this is a great opportunity to support many of the non-profits in our city. Many different groups have funding goals and would love for you to partner with them! Who are you supporting this year? omahagives.org/pottawattamie

Is it okay if we don’t have everything together? Do things like depression, anxiety, and fear mean we’re too messed up to step into a church? We’re diving into this question tomorrow at all three of our services: 8am (traditional music), 9:15am, and 10:45am
Tomorrow is an incredible morning. Dr. Deb Hoffman will be joining us as we ask the question “Is it okay to not be okay?” We’ll be looking at how God can bring you hope, purpose, and joy when you’re surrounded by depression, anxiety, and fear. Join us at one of our services: 8am (traditional music), 9:15am, and 10:45am

Happy Mothers Day to all of the incredible women who have shaped our lives. You’re amazing and deserve this special day.

A little #tbt to this last weekend of ServeFest. Loved working alongside every one of you as we loved our city. Here are a couple shots of our time together before the morning got started!
We sat down to keep the conversation going around God's dream for sexuality. It's a crazy topic and we had a lot of fun talking more about it. If you were wanting to catch the full sermon from this past Sunday, you can find it at www.myfcc.life

Loved sharing Bryce's story of discovering Jesus this weekend!
First Christian, here are a few ways you can help make this weekend an incredible experience for everyone who comes. We're excited to worship with you in a few days!
Chris' story of how someone's life can be impacted by a single church in so many ways was a beautiful one to hear. God's faithfulness through his people is evident in both joyful times and the hardest moments. We're grateful for her, her testimony, and her commitment to the mission of Jesus here in our city.
